Welcome Note

Dear congress participants, dear colleagues,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the joint meeting of the Hungarian Association of Cardiovascular Imaging and Central European Congress on Non-Invasive Cardiovascular imaging! This bilingual international meeting reflects the values of collaboration and networking between international and Hungarian experts in cardiovascular imaging. To organize this special venue, cardiologists and radiologists were working together to bring you the latest evidence and developments in the field of non-invasive imaging of the heart and lung. I would like to draw your attention to our hands on cardiac-CT and echocardiography workshops, which provide unique opportunity to gain practical knowledge in advanced cardiac imaging. We provide level I certification in cardiac CT if you participate in the cardiac-CT training, which includes 50 cases, and follow the cardiac CT lectures of our conference. Please, register to these workshops on the venue’s homepage www.cecnicvi.com.
The special venue deserves a special location; therefore, we have decided to take our congress to the Margaret Island in Budapest. We hope that you will enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the island and it will provide an inspiring milieu for scientific discussions.

Yours sincerely, ,
Pál Maurovich-Horvat MD, PhD, MPH
President of the Hungarian Association of Cardiovascular Imaging
