Network Dinner
The Network Dinner will be hosted by the Europa Ship on the Danube. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of both sides of the river from the sailing ship while eating. The Royal Palace, the Parliament Building and the famous bridges will surround us. The upper deck will be open for those who prefer the open sky (stair access, no food service, you can take your drinks with you).
You will enjoy a 3 course dinner. Unlimited drinks (soft drinks, champagne, wine, beer, tea, coffee) are also included for the full ship experience (3 hours). Apart from a 2 minutes greeting by the local organizing committee chair, there will be no speeches or presentations. A music and dance area will be available.
The ship leaves from the Batthyány tér at the Buda side, right opposite to the Parliament Building. Boarding starts at 7.30 pm. Buses to the ship will leave from Novotel Budapest City (beside the Venue) at 7.00 pm. The “Europa Thyroid Ship” leaves the port at 8.00 pm. Please note that there will be no possibility to get on board while we travel on the Danube. Would you choose to walk or to take a taxi to the boat, look for the Europa Ship at the Chain Bridge (Lánchíd) edge of Batthyány tér (Batthyany Square) on the Buda side of the river.
From 9.30 to 10.30 pm, for the last hour of the Network Dinner, the ship will be standing in the port so that delegates can return to their hotels any time, buses returning continuously from the ship from 9.30 pm on. Stops: Novotel Budapest City, Sofitel Chain Bridge, Deak square, Mercure Korona (Kalvin square).
