Welcome Message

Dear Collegues,

It is a great honor for us that the Department of Surgical Research and Techniques of the Semmelweis University will organise the XXVI. Hungarian Experimental Surgical Congress between 28 and 30 in September 2017. Hungarian pioneers of experimental surgery exactly 50 years ago, in 1967, held the first Hungarian Experimental Surgical Congress in Hajdúszoboszló.

Beyond the well-known experimental surgical topics, namely circulation, shock, microsurgery, tissue and organ transplantation, ischemia/reperfusion and minimal invasive surgery, we are planning scientific sections and hands-on course about experimental technological innovations and electrosurgical experiments, from endoluminal surgical research and clinical experiences, and from nanotechnological results in the surgical field. As a new topic we are planning to talk about the regulation of experimental animal usage.

In addition to planned scientific programs the participants should enjoy the gastronomic experience and relaxing wellness programs of the congress venue (Abacus Business & Wellness Hotel****, Herceghalom, which is located 25 km from Budapest, www.abacushotel.hu).
